Company History




The company was set up under the name of Industrie Négoce Confort Hygiène (INCH). The company started life in Leuze (Hainaut), in the premises of a hosiery factory specialising in stockings and socks.




The company specialised in mattress protection, particularly in waterproof PVC-coated mattress protection, which became its core trade.




The company was taken over by its current CEO, Mr Bertrand Joris, in partnership with the Sioen Industries group (now the world leading company in coating, a listed company with a turnover of more than €350 million, employing more than 4500 staff worldwide).




Construction of a new building on the Tournai Ouest 2 industrial estate in Blandain where corporate headquarters are now located. Introduction of new, state-of-the-art, production facilities and a logistics platform designed to meet the needs of supermarket distributors.




INCH experienced high growth and continued to expand, opening a new production plant in Romania, with a very large production capacity.

INCH stepped up its exports considerably, mainly within Europe, but also to the United States and Canada. It designed a number of products ranges specifically for the hotel industry, local authorities and the medical sector.




Opening of sales offices in the United Kingdom and Norway.



Opening of a sales office in Denmark.



Opening of sales offices in Sweden, Switzerland and Germany. Opening of new laboratory for innovation and product testing with a traceability system.
